What I like getting
The small noticings. Someone telling me they also have a mirror they avoid, or a colour they wore for years and then could not explain giving up. Those messages are the reason several of these pieces exist. If something you send turns into an article I will ask you first, and I will not use your name unless you want me to.
What I cannot do
I cannot tell you what would suit you. I have not seen your face and would be guessing along with you, and guessing confidently is the exact habit this site was started to get away from. I do not do paid consultations and I am not qualified to advise on anything medical. Skin that hurts, changes shape, or is not settling belongs in front of a doctor rather than in my inbox.
The notes box
The form on the homepage and under the articles is a plain mailto link. Using it opens your own mail program and sends a message to the address above, which is a personal inbox. There is no list, no platform, and nothing stored anywhere else. See the privacy policy for the whole of it.
Corrections
If I got something wrong, say so. It goes on the page with a note about what changed.
Brands
There are no sponsored pieces here dressed up as ordinary ones, and nothing is written to order. Read the affiliate disclosure and the editorial policy before sending anything. Being sent a product does not commit me to writing about it, or to liking it.
