Why I write this slowly
I started keeping these notes because I could not find anything that sounded like the way I actually think about my face. Everything I read was certain. I am not certain. Some mornings I like what I see and I could not tell you why, and some mornings the same face in the same light reads completely differently to me.
So this is not a routine to copy. It is closer to a diary that happens to be about beauty. I change my mind here often, and I try to leave the changing in rather than tidy it away.
